Constructed in full-grain cowhide, Imola embodies all the iconic Dainese characteristics and technologies designed for the track. Imola is suitable for the hottest of track days thanks to localized perforation of the leather panels. The perforation of the leather is positioned away from the seams and areas most exposed to abrasion. This allows for optimal airflow without compromising safety in any way. Imola ensures maximum safety thanks to the use of certified composite protectors at the shoulders, elbows and knees. The hip area is complete with soft protectors that offer the rider great freedom of movement. At the shoulders and elbows are the iconic Dainese aluminum plates. The metal, positioned externally and at strategic points, is superior to plastic in that it offers better abrasion resistance properties. When sliding, it is more resistant to heat and does not degrade. This helps to support and encourage sliding and prevent any dangerous rolling or twisting of the joints. The construction of the suit allows for greater mobility in the saddle thanks to the Tri-Axial system on the back, a large multi-directional stretch leather insert that allows maximum freedom of movement while ensuring the same level of abrasion resistance as the other leather panels. Inserts in XF Arrow, a cutting-edge Dainese material that combines great elasticity and fit with the resistance of leather, allow for greater mobility in total safety. The D-Tec Racing Core inner lining is removable and washable, made of a material that offers excellent breathability and comfort. Imola is designed for intense track use in all conditions: the RSS 3.0 system features quickly replaceable two-compound elbow sliders. The aerodynamic hump is designed to hold a water bag kit, which means the integrated water system developed for all world championship suits can be fitted. This system, when connected to a compatible helmet, allows the rider to drink without having to take their hands off the handlebars at any time during the race or training session.
